Parkridge Shoes and Shoe Repair opened in 1955 with the idea that faster is not always better.In 1993, Sandra Ruth took over the business and customers continue to benefit from the same quality of work that has made Parkridge shoe repairs trademark. Seven additional employees help Sandy keep up the original motto of the business: We strive for the original look, not the repaired look. With 25 years of experience under her belt, there isn’t much that Sandy can’t fix. Shoe repair is not the only expertise of our business.

We recently added more space for selling our wide selection of shoes, 16 years of experience in retail are what al low Missy and Sam to be the best employees to answer any of your questions about our quality shoes and insoles. Many customers are not aware that Parkridge Shoes and Shoe Repair also has a sewing department where they can mend, hem or alter almost anything you bring in. Our seamstress Carol has been sewing since she was 13, and is an expert in the field. Combine that with Sandy’s sewing experience and they almost always have a way to mend or repair your items, making them look as good as new.
